The International Interdisciplinary Studies Seminar
Indonesia is an the largest archipelagic country in the world, Indonesia is blessed with so many different people, cultures, customs, traditions, artworks, food, animals, plants, landscapes, and everything that made it almost like 100 (or even 200) countries melted beautifully into one. More than 200 ethnic groups with over 300 spoken languages bridging the continents of Asia and Australia. The International Interdisciplinary Studies Seminar (IISS) is an annual scientific conference that provides a unique platform for scientists, researchers, and professionals across multiple disciplines to share their research advancements and critical ideas to address the societal problems (Social capacity for environmental protection, community-driven environmental management). The conference was initiated 16 years ago by recognising that social problems require an interdisciplinary approach to reach a holistic solution. Every year, the conference has been attended by hundreds of participants from various disciplines of science. The upcoming IISS conference will be organized at Postgraduate School Brawijaya University, Malang, East Java, Indonesia.
